Social Innovation: Drug education takes a philosophical route

Hello everyone,

In the past two years, I have been working on a research project called “Using Philosophical Inquiry in Drug Education” with UBC and CARBC (Centre for Addictions Research of British Columbia) through the postdoctoral fellowship I received from Mitacs (a national organization that builds partnerships between academia, industry, and the world – to create a more innovative Canada). Mitacs has recently published an Impact Story of this project and reflected it as Social Innovation 🙂 You can read the story here.

“In a society where we are bombarded with messages from the media, ads, and all different kinds of information, I believe children need the skills to be able to think for themselves and to be critical about mass information.”
