Learn French with Stories is a fun class for beginners to learn how to read, speak and write in French through storybooks. Sitting together, we read classic literature stories such as Le petit Chaperon rouge (Little Red Riding Hood) or le boucle d’or et trios ours (Golden Hair and the Three Bears) and learn new words and phrases and do related activities.
Practice French with Stories is a fun, engaging class for Grade 3 of French Immersion (based on BC educational system). Using storybooks in French, the children learn about concepts that are important in their lives. Some of these topics include: Le petit ours qui ne voulait pas hiberner (Little bear who does not want sleep) which explores the concept of fear of darkness; Le bouton rétrécisseur de mamans discusses the meaning of authority; or La petite histoire de Didi which talks about handicapped children.
